Venue
The venue for the symposium will be Keynes college at the University of Kent in Canterbury.
Keynes College University of Kent Canterbury Kent CT2 7NPThe symposium itself will take place in Keynes Lecture Theatre 5 (KLT5) in Keynes college, on the Canterbury campus. There is a foyer area where guests will be welcomed and refreshments will be served. Also available in the building is a small cafe and a bar.

The University of Kent
Sitting amongst 300 acres of green parkland the Canterbury campus of the University of Kent opened in 1965 and currently welcomes around 11,000 full-time and 3,500 part-time students and some 600 academic and research staff.

Canterbury City
Canterbury is a town of great historical interest, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site. The skyline in the centre of the city is dominated by the Norman cathedral which was built in 1070. Many parts of the city, including the city walls, are Medieval. The city welcomes well over 1 million tourists annually. This high tourist activity and its university makes it a vibrant city in terms of bars and restaurants.
